Now what’s crazy about this is that after doing a bit more research, I came to find that many of the families that lived in St. Louis at the time that owned a business, were people who either descended from or were formerly enslaved people who bought their own freedom, started a business in the area, and then used the money from their business to purchase the freedom of their family members.

It seems to make the story even more insidious when you factor in this almost covered up fact, but what adds insult to an already massive injury, is that the city itself committed voter fraud to ensure it’s success in a project such as this!

One of the Realest Black Women to ever do it! Ms. Annie Lou Cooper! Y’all I simply can’t get over the fact she laid a racist grown a** man/Sheriff on the floor! Here’s what I imagined happened afterwards.
In 2016 a Chicago Police Officer started suing the family of a teen HE KILLED! I know exactly what you are thinking, and yes this happened in real life in America! To make matters worse the same officer ended up killing an innocent bystander/neighbor, Ms. Bettie Jones (55), to his first victim, Mr. Quintonio LeGrier (19), as he shot 6 bullets that passed through Quintonio to Ms. Bettie.

Officer Rialmo sued Quintonio’s family under the pretense of severe emotional distress for 10 million dollars, which is also especially egregious as when Quintonio’s family sued the city under a wrongful death lawsuit and won 1 million dollars, the judge in that case revoked it and ordered the money no to be paid out! I’m not sure what Officer Rialmo expected to get, but the Mayor stepped in to call off the lawsuit siting it to be “callous”.
City protestors and activists have since asked the FBI to step in on behalf of the LeGrier family and conduct it’s own investigation, to no avail however. The investigation is requested as Officer Rialmo said Quintonio ran at him with a bat and that he only shot when Quintonio was within a very close range of him, that being said the family of Mr. LeGrier and Ms. Jones both have evidence showing the officer was more than 20 ft away, possibly even 30 from both victims!

I’d say this is all hard to believe but it sounds par for the course in the United States Justice System.

Not only that but did you know that Black Folks made the first organized hockey league ever! This happened due to descendants of escaped enslaved peoples in Nova Scotia, this article in fact even timelines its creation! And this article gives reasons behind the league as well.
Lastly odds are (though I couldn’t definitively prove it), but those same Nova Scotians may have been the inventors of hockey! It should be noted that hockey, according to this likely theory, that a European Prince while visiting Nova Scotia Saw the famed hockey league, and that’s how it was brought to the Western World. This article can give you a starting board if you wanted to research it, I used to have more articles and research from when I first looked into this, however I’ve since switched computers and don’t have my sources list from that original time.

Y’all! The original name of Africa is Alkebulan! Even cooler than that Alkebulan translates to “mother of mankid” and/or “the Garden of Eden”! This is the name used by most of our ancient ancestors referred to our homeland as, I honestly never even considered Africa to NOT BE the original name. This just goes to show how even after researching our history and people everyday, I still have much to learn!

Now I’m not saying he deserved it, but I am saying, HE DESERVED IT! This off duty Police Officer was knocked unconscious for his racist remarks and while we don’t condone violence, we do allow karma to run it’s course!

If You Lived in Britain Before 2015 and Paid Taxes, You Helped Abolish Slavery! As the story goes, taxes went to pay the Slave Owners for their “loss of property”.
The really interesting thing is that the families of those paid by this Act, are some of the most powerful and richest families in the UK to this day! In fact here’s a list of families that received “freedom funds”. This is a list of some of the powerful and rich elites (including a recent Prime Minister!) and here’s a list of 46,000 families/individuals who received funds, (this is just the trackable one and not a total aggregate list).
For those of you who want a source that also fact checked the original claim here you can read USA Today’s article on it! They also mention how many citizens of the UK were angry about having to pay for their ancestors mistakes, which I found kind of funny.
Medusa was Actually a Black Woman! And an African Queen!
As the story goes, she was an African Queen/Goddess that actually symbolized female wisdom among many many many other ideals. That being said, there are any SCHOLARLY sources confirming this story. This story does have various sources however that I used to cross reference it’s telling, listed below. It should also be mentioned that certain aspects of the story does have scholarly sources, such as sources confirming Africa’s impact on Greek mythology and philosophy.
This stands to bolster the story’s credence as there is an undeniably basis for the claim, but without further ado, here’s the sources!

According to both Forbes and the Harvard Business Review it’s true! Black Women have been starting businesses like crazy! This may be possibly due to the increased amount of time black women spent at home over the pandemic, while there is no proof to back up this claim yet, it would make a lot of sense! Or maybe that’s just me.
As for education stats and sources here are a few that I looked at as well, Thought co. really broke it all down and processed everything into bite sized bits of knowledge, and Essence report (from 2016) kind of maps out black women’s ascendency from then to now!
Anyways, i’m proud of black women’s achievement, this is something to be proud of and amazed by! Now if only the media would show THESE images and stats at large…

These Men Were Shot In The Back By Cowards of Officers

I’m angry. Livid! How can people turn a blind eye to this or say this is justified? There is no justification for this and to turn a blind is absolutely disgusting. Two men, two different states, two different sets of police, but the same situation. Disgusting force on unarmed men. Men who were shot excessively. One shot 11 and the other shot 7 times!
Let’s start with Louisiana. A man, Trayford Pellerin, was thought to be carrying a knife was shot 11 times and tased by police in front of a gas station. Shot 11 times when there were four officers for a guy who was THOUGHT to be carrying a knife. “He could’ve attacked an officer and killed him!” I bet that will be common argument. No. They all had tasers and only one used it while the others thought 11 bullets was the answer. This was excessive and they should be jailed.

Now to Wisconsin. The man, Jacob Blake, was walking away from police. They knew he had no weapon. There were four cops. The one that shot him, had a hand on the Blake’s shirt and had more than enough time to grab him and take him out of the vehicle. Instead of using his training to grab, submit him and then detain him, the officer shot Blake 7 times in the back. Cowardly. These officers are trained in hand to hand combat. They can even use tasers! But no, they shoot first. Blake is in hospital fighting for survival that doesn’t look probable.
Sometimes it feels like they are trained to shoot first with no question of the situation. That if the Black community is unarmed, shoot more. This is truly disturbing. You’d think they’d try to behave to try and get light off of them but no these officers just make it worse for the good ones. Speak loud and don’t stop saying names of victims.
