If you haven’t heard of Darren Rainey and how Miami Police got away with BOILING an Inmate (Darren Rainey), then it just goes to show the power of how police covered this up.

Darren Rainey was an inmate in Miami-Dade county. The guards there set the shower to 160 degrees Fahrenheit, and locked Rainey inside for 2 hours. His skin literally MELTED off of the bone. He banged and kicked on the doors asking for release to no avail.

Even other inmates recount the story and abuse perpetrated against Rainey. They mention how they heard his cries and kicks and then all of a sudden, they couldn’t hear him anymore.

Rainey was serving a 2 YEAR SENTENCE drug possession sentence, THAT HE ENDED UP PAYING HIS LIFE FOR. And was anyone charged? Of course not. Would we really be able to expect anything different? The supposed “investigation” lasted 5 years long and claimed Rainey died of schizophrenia, heart disease, and confinement. The report also touted bogus claims such as, Rainey wasn’t burned. Despite him have 2nd and 3rd degree burns over more than 30% of his body.

The State Attorney for the Miami-Dade region hid this and worked hard to cover up the story protecting the cops that perpetrated this HORRENDOUS TORTURE. Let’s call it what it is, TORTURE. No officer was EVEN DISCIPLINED OR REPRIMANDED IN ANY WAY. Not even the usual “administrative leave”.

I don’t know how active the case still is, but here is a petition to resurface the case, demand a new investigation, and have justice performed. Below is also a video showing Darren’s body, please exercise caution as the video is gruesome.
